Capturing videos and screenshots on PS5
The official guide from Sony can be found here.
First of all, you need to check the capture settings on your PS5. Go to "Settings", scroll down to "Capture and Broadcasts" > "Capture" and make the following changes (if needed):
-
"Shortcuts for Create Button"
- Button mapping - Standard.
- Length of Recent Gameplay Video Clip - 1 minute.
- "Screenshot Format" > "File type" - PNG.
- "Video Clip Format" > "File Type" - MP4.
- "Auto-Upload" should be ON.
After that, you will be ready to capture some footage in the game:
- On your DualSense controller, press the Create button (located to the left of the touchpad). This brings up the Create menu.
-
From the menu, select either:
- Take Screenshot: Capture a still image of your current screen.
- Record Video: Start or save a video clip. You can record the last 15 seconds to 60 minutes of gameplay or start a new recording from this point forward.
All screenshots and video clips are saved in the Media Gallery app on your PS5. You can access it from your home screen by navigating to “Game Library” > Media Gallery.
Accessing your videos and screenshots on other devices
- Download the PSN app from Google Play or App Store.
- Log in to the PSN app using the PSN account that you use on your console to play UFL.
- In the app, go to "Settings" > "Console Management" > "Link Console" and choose your PS5 system.
- Make sure that the Captures Auto-Upload option is on.
You will find your future UFL screenshots and video clips in the "Game Library" section of the app.

After you have completed all the previous steps, you should be all set to share a screenshot or a video clip with us.
When submitting a new request, use the attachment function at the very bottom of the ticket creation form. If you are replying to us in an existing inquiry, you can simply attach your screenshot/video clip to your email.
If your file is too big to attach to your inquiry or reply, please upload it to Google Drive and share the link to the uploaded file with us. Videos can also be uploaded to YouTube.
