When you log in to the game for the first time, it automatically opens your default browser to complete the authorization process on the Strikerz ID website. If the game is unable to authorize you that way, the Platform operation failure error appears.
The issue is usually caused by a browser that is working incorrectly (or was installed incorrectly). Changing the default system browser to a different one should resolve the issue. You can change your default browser to the original one after checking if this solution helps.
To change your default browser in Windows, follow these steps:
- On your keyboard, press Win + I.
- In the settings menu that opens up, search for Default apps.
- Look for Microsoft Edge (or any other browser you have installed, except for the currently chosen one), open it, and press Set default.
As other possible solutions, you can also try temporarily disabling your antivirus and VPN (if you are using any).
If the error appears even after changing the default browser

You can get the required logs by following these steps:
- Open the game launcher.
- Press the wrench button in the upper-right corner of the launcher window.
- Press Diagnostic files > Yes.
- Wait for the process to complete. When it finishes, a file explorer window will open.
- Attach the archive from the opened window to your inquiry.
